The Hydrometeorological Center of Russia along with the G. I. Marchuk Institute of Computational Mathematics RAS became associate members of the WMO Annual-to-Decadal Climate Prediction Consortium (LD-ADCP WMO). A technology based on the global climate model INM-CM5 and the system for generating an ensemble of initial states was created. An analysis of the success of retrospective forecasts of the main meteorological parameters for the period 1960-2022 showed that their accuracy meets the requirements for the center providing data for LD-ADCP WMO.

Forecasts of the INM-CM5 model are available on the LD-ASP WMO website at https://hadleyserver.metoffice.gov.uk/wmolc/, and were also taken into account in the WMO Global Annual to Decadal Climate Update issued in June 2023.
